If you are looking to stream kdrama shows to your big screen, DramaFever will be available on Boxee and Roku some time this year. Roku is an inexpensive way to stream Netflix movies and shows wirelessly to the TV. I am tired of connecting my laptop to the TV (via HDMI) each time I want to watch a kdrama show, so this partnership is welcomed news for all of us. Here is the response I received from DramaFever regarding streaming appliances:

"We're planning release of our Boxee app sometime next month. As for Roku, it will happen later this year. Thanks!" -- Ticket ID: 6941.

DramaFever produces near-HD video quality and it looks excellent on a LCD TV. But I wonder if Dolby Digital is going to be available as well. We will have to wait and see.

  1. It's June 2011, does Dramafever work on Boxee?

  2. I wanted dramafever on Boxee as well...but now I dont need it. Just realized DF is a paid subscription app on Roku. LAME. Most people will only pay for netflix or hulu plus, otherwise we'd rather sign up for cable tv.
